Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Monday, September 26, 2011. Dearly loved husband for 58 years of Betty Allen of Keswick. Loving father of Bill (Brenda) Allen of Madoc and Diane (Ian MacDonald) of Newmarket. Predeceased by one son Robert Allen. Cherished grandfather of Neil (Elsie) Allen, Scott (Amanda) Allen, Kayleigh and Calum MacDonald. Great grandfather of Abigail and Ethan. John will be greatly missed by his siblings, nieces, nephews, family and many friends. John was a retired employee of the York Board of Education. Cremation has taken place. Visitation from M.W.
