Leonard Cooper left us September 28, 2011 to be with his beloved Grace, following his brave fight against liver cancer. He was an extremely hardworking, honest, generous and loving man that was happiest when working with his hands. He loved to talk about his childhood in Newfoundland and to display his collection of handmade boats and birdhouses.
Predeceased by his wife Grace Cooper (Donnelly), his sisters
Fannie Baker, Mildred Baker and his brother Alfred Cooper.
He is survived by his sister Margaret Butler of St. Johns, Newfoundland, as well as many brother-in laws, sister-in laws, nieces, nephews and cousins living in Newfoundland.
Known by most as “Uncle” Len’s love can still be felt by all the people he has touched. He will be GREATLY missed by his nieces and nephews Cathy, (Jim), Stephanie, and Ben Baiden, Carol, (Jason) and Carson Orchard, Darlene (Bill) Graham. His love will continue in all that knew him!
