Barbara Gale Long

Passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Sunday, October 3oth, 2011 at Southlake Regional Health Centre at the age of 54. Loving wife of Dave Long. Cherished mother of Nick Hebbourn, Dave Long (Louise Fitzgerald), Carly Long (Steph Martel), Tracey Smith (Ryan), Kim Long (Vic). Dear grandmother of Dante, Autumn, Peyton, Austin, Emily, Brandon, Tyler, Roxy, Alyssa, Kurtis, and the late Angel. Beloved daughter of Richard Hebbourn and Gloria Irving. Dear friend of Celestina, Terry and Alice. Barbara will be greatly missed by her canine friend Ozzy, her family and extended family, and her friends. Dave would like to thank Doris “Doddy” Hebbourn for her love and support through out. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff on the 5th floor and in the Palliative Care unit at Southlake Regional Health Centre for their wonderful care and support.
