Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at her home in Keswick on Thursday, November 22, 2012 at the age of 49 years. Loving wife of Ernie Shelly. Cherished mother and stepmother of David (Casey), Michael (Laura), Shawn, Lauren, Joshua (Jody) and Justin. Beloved grandmother of Sebastien, Gabrielle and Tyler. Daughter of Dorothy and the late Gene Hilliard. Sister of Tim (Donna) Hilliard, Audrey (Gord Dermo) and Terry (Cheryl) Hilliard. Aunt of Tim Hilliard Jr., Carrie Nixon, Mandy Hilliard and Rob Dermo. Daughter-in-law of Madeline and the late John Shelley and sister-in-law of Carmel (Garry Ferwerda), Florence (late Cecil Walsh), Goretti (Greg Barker), Jackie (Amos Kliensasser), Jean Shelley, Celesta (Roddie Bird), Lee (Wilson Pynn), Pat Shelley (Tony Hogan), Walter Shelley, Tom (Marilyn) Shelley and Merl (Carol) Shelley. Wendy will be greatly missed by her large circle of friends and family. Visitation from M.W. Becker Funeral Home on Friday, November 23, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with a Eulogy at 7:30 p.m. If desired, donations to the Sunnybrook Health Science Centre would be appreciated by the family.
