James George Ypma

Passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by the love of his family and closest friends on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Lynne Ypma. Loving father of Michael Ypma (Caroline Sheremeta) and Michelle (Darryl Bingham). Cherished grandfather of Jacob & Brendan Ypma and Ryan & Brooke Bingham. Dear son of Anneke and the late George Ypma. Brother of Sonja Douglas, Peter Ypma, Henry Ypma (Carol), Rose Nakucyj (Bill) and predeceased by Douglas Ypma. Jim will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and many close friends and especially by his springer spaniel Koko. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at The Briars Resort, Jackson's Point in their Summer Dinning Room on Saturday, July 13, 2013 from 2- 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
