Barbara Ann “Barb” Dixon

Passed away unexpectedly, with her family by her side, at Southlake Regional Health Centre on Friday, August 2, 2013 in her 75th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Carl and her youngest son Dale. Cherished mother of Steve and Philip (Michelle). Beloved grandmother of Justin, Nicole, Owen and Bob. Dear sister of Georette (Pat Verner) and Mary-Jane (Keith Leewis). Barb will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Rest Haven Nursing Home and at Southlake Regional Health Centre for their excellent care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at M.W. Becker Funeral Home Ltd., Keswick on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation from 12:30 p.m. until time of service. If desired, donation to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family. At Barb's request, a causal dress code is in affect.
