Donald Smelser

(Retired employee of Northtown Ford) Peacefully at Hamilton General Hospital on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, in his 86th year. Dearly loved husband of Catherine Smelser of Mount Hope, formerly of Island Grove. Predeceased by his wife Shirley Smelser (1995) and one step-son Steven Bacher. Survived by his two sons, Ken and Donald Smelser. Dear grandfather of Scott, Amanda and Stephanie. Don will be greatly missed by the Hartleb family; Bill, Cindy, Mary, Kathleen and Joseph, and their children; Emmy, Mark, Anna, Ellie, Ben and Tucker, as well as other extended family, and many, many friends in Ontario and Florida. At Don’s request, cremation has taken place. If desired, donation made to a Charity of your Choice would be appreciated by the family. Graveside Service at Queensville Cemetery will take place on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 12 Noon.
