Dorothy Lillian Mitchell

Dorothy passed away peacefully from this life in her 90th year at River Glen Haven, Sutton ON. Beloved wife of Thomas Mitchell (Keswick) for 65 years. Dear mother of Kathleen Briggs (David) Salt Spring Island BC, Nancy Briggs (Tom) Sutton ON, Roxanne Briggs (Steve) Keswick ON, Brian Mitchell (Corinne) Paris FR. Devoted Granny to Daryl Briggs(Jaclyn), Sharon MacKie (Edward), Gary Briggs (Erin), Roger Briggs (Sarah), Suzanne Kershaw (Mark), Evan Briggs and Lauriane Mitchell. Dear “GGma” to Joel, Tyler, Wade, Ben and Claire. Dorothy was loved by her sisters Jeanette Stewart (Tacoma WA), Margie Higham (2012) and their families. As a member of the Christadelphian faith community since her baptism in May 1941, Dorothy lived her life in faithful hope of the promise of eternal life in the Kingdom of God. She now rests in peace until the resurrection at Christ’s return. Sincere thanks to all who provided comfort and care for Dorothy at Cedarvale Lodge, River Glen Haven and Southlake Hospital. As Dorothy wished, cremation has taken place. * Due to flu outbreak at Cedarvale Lodge the Service of Remembrance will be held at M.W.
