Richard George Hickman

(Veteran WW II Royal Canadian Airforce) (Past President Royal Canadian Legion) of Keswick passed away on Monday December 23, 2013 at Southlake Regional Health Center, Newmarket, Ontario, he was in his 88th year. A long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion and avid fisherman. Predeceased by his loving wife, Stephanie Hickman. Loving companion to Millie Banks. He is survived by his children, Allan, Lionel (Bill), Richard Jr, Stephen, Margaret, Phoebe, Eva Marie and Douglas. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, Christopher, Erin, Matthew, Christopher, Amanda, Rick Jr. Katrina, Krista, Jennifer, Stephanie, Sarah, Alia and Emma as well as great grandchildren, Kaleb, Adelaide, Matthew, Callie, Maison, Buddy, JJ, Jesse, Jackson, Samuel and Emery and great great grandchild Bradon. Dick will be missed by his family and friends. Visitation at M.W. Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway S., Keswick, Ont. 905-476-7711 on Sunday December 29 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, with a Veterans Service at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service to be held on Monday December 30, 2013 at 11:00 am, same location. Luncheon to follow the service. Cremation to follow. If desired, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Legion Service on Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
