Jane Austin Mucklestone

Peacefully at Cedarvale Lodge, Keswick, on Monday, March 10, 2014 in her 84th year. Predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Ken (2001) and son John (2006). Loving mother to daughters Connie (Bruce Tisdale) of Toronto and Cathy (Rik Hudson) of Uxbridge. Jane will be greatly missed by grandchildren Lindsay Drew-Mucklestone (Brad Boyd), Jarrett Mucklestone (Sueann Mucklestone), Kenneth Mucklestone (Nathalie LaPointe) and Austin Hudson (Jenn Keenan), five great grandchildren, and first cousin Diane Pollard. Professionally affiliated with Ryerson University and the Ontario Quarter Horse Racing Industry, both of which she was an integral part of for many years. A Celebration of Jane’s Life will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at M.W. Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway S., Keswick (905) 476-7711. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation will be appreciated. The family wishes to extend our appreciation to the wonderful staff of Cedarvale Lodge for many years of dedicated care.
