Passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at the age of 64 years. Loving husband of Sharon. Beloved father of Sandra (James Burns), Duane (Charlene) Petten and Bill Petten. Cherished grandfather of Shawn Burns (Debbie Danbrooke), Kaygan Burns, Amberly Sabourin and Justin Petten, and great-grandfather of Sophie and Emily Burns. Survived by his siblings Jean, Gus, John, Geraldine and Yvonne. Bob will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 28, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. from M.W. Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway S., Keswick (905-476-7711) followed by interment at Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton. Visitation from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Association, the Lung Association or C.O.P.D. c/o Toronto General & Weston Hospital Foundation.
