George Thomas Day

Passed away peacefully at Mackenzie Place Nursing Home, Newmarket on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 three days after his 90th birthday. Reunited with his son David Day (1986). Survived by his loving wife Winifred Day (nee Gibbs) of Keswick. Cherished father of Susan Crook-Day and Robert Day and father-in-law of Cheryl Day. Beloved grandfather of Ryan, Shannon, Andrew, Lindsay, David and their spouses and great grandfather of 5. Dear brother of Margaret Cameron and Gordon Day. George was a good, kind man and he will be dearly missed and forever loved by his family and friends. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. If desired, donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to M.W. Becker Funeral Home LTD., Keswick.
