Suddenly, as the result of a tragic accident on Sunday, August 4, 2014 in her 53rd year. Dearly loved wife of Jim Rogers of Keswick. Cherished mother of Aaron Rogers and Amber Rogers. Loving sister of Kitty (Dale Longfield), Archie McPhee, Vincent McPhee and Fiona (Joe Romagnoli). Elly will be greatly missed by her many sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Predeceased by her parents Helen and Vincent McPhee and survived by her stepmother Martha McPhee. If desired, donations made to an Education Fund for Aaron and Amber Rogers would be appreciated by the family. Memorial visitation from M.W. Becker Funeral Home, Keswick on Friday, September 26, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Memorial Mass from Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. A Celebration of Life Reception will take place following the service on Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church's grounds (please dress appropriate for the weather). Following the Reception an interment of ashes will take place at Saint John's Cemetery located at 250 Main Street North, Newmarket.
