Passed away on Friday, May 1, 2015 at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket with his loving family by his side, in his 84th year. Dearly loved husband of Margaret. Dear father of Elva, Margaret, Ellen (Bob), Berta (Mike), Terri (Lloyd) and Loretta (Dave). Cherished grandpa, great-grandpa and great great-grandpa. Dear brother of Gladys, Sylvia (Ben), Irene, Keith (Pearl). Bert will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and many friends. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Sutton Branch 356, East St, Sutton, on Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 1-4 p.m. If desired, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
