John Wesley Baker

Passed away peacefully at Mackenzie Health Centre, Richmond Hill on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at the age of 93 years. Beloved husband of Lily Sumeer of Keswick. Loving father of Robert Baker of Barrie and step-father of Patricia Seenarine, Roy Persaud, Jennifer Persaud, all of Toronto, Andrew Brennan of Barrie, and Marlyn Persaud of Scarborough. Cherished grandfather of Ariane Persaud and Ashton Sookchan. Predeceased by his siblings, George Baker, Dorothy Baker, and Peggy Baker. Visitation will be held at MW Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway South, Keswick on Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 12 p.m. – 12:45 p.m. Followed by a Private, Family only Memorial Service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. In memory of John, donations made to the Georgina Animal Shelter would be appreciated.
