Peacefully at Simcoe Manor, Beeton, on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Hans "John" Broschell formerly of Winnifred Rd, Keswick. Loving mother of Irene Broschell (Michael Lockyear) of Barrie, John (Cheryl) of Newmarket, Rodney (Elaine) of Bradford and Christopher (Cindy) of Barrie. Cherished Nana of Geoffrey, Kathryn, Scott, Matthew, Cara, Graham, Leah, Addison and great "Nana" of Zander, Emma Jean, Preston, Clara, Mia, JP, Wyatt, Victoria, Jameson. Dear sister of the late Herbert "Doug" Grimley, Evelyn Jefferies and Kenneth Grimley. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to doctors, nurses, staff and volunteers at Simcoe Manor, Beeton, for all of their wonderful care and support. Visitation on Friday, August 25, 2023, at St. John Chrysostom, 432 Ontario Street, Newmarket, from 10:30 a.m.to 11:00 a.m., followed by Mass at 11 a.m. Interment Queensville Cemetery.
