William Higgins "George"

The family is deeply heartbroken to announce George’s passing on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket. He was surrounded by his children’s love and is now at peace with Ruth, his wife of 53 years.  Loving father of Shelley (Mario Garcia) of Woodville, Brian Higgins (Candice) of Aurora, and Alan Higgins of Keswick.  Cherished grandfather of Kevin Garcia (Sonia), Kris Garcia (Allyson), Alyssa (James Smith), Madison and Briare Higgins.  He will be greatly missed by his great grandchildren Arianna and Niko Garcia, Violet Garcia, Jensen and Grace Smith.  Family and friends will be received at the M.W. Becker Funeral Home Chapel, 490 The Queensway South, Keswick on Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by a Celebration of George’s Life at 12 noon.  In memory of George, donations to Southlake Regional Health Centre would be appreciated.  You may sign the online book of condolences at mwbeckerfuneralhome.com
