Peacefully at Matthew House Hospice in Alliston on Monday, January 25, 2021, at the age of 82 years. Beloved husband of the late Betty Colburt (née Murphy, 2009). Loving step-father of Bonnie Hunt and beloved mentor to Dave McAteer of Queensville. Cherished grandfather of Jason Morgan (Ashley Simonds) of Waterloo and Ayden Heyink of Newmarket. Great grandfather of Delilah and Eliza Simonds. Many thanks to the staff at Eldon Retirement Home in Bradford, Matthew House Hospice in Alliston, the Palliative Unit and the Cancer Care Unit at Southlake Regional Health Centre and the staff at M.W.
