Ruth Lynn Higgins

The family is profoundly sad to announce Ruth's passing on Friday August 2, 2019, at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, after a valiant struggle with pulmonary fibrosis. She was surrounded by her family's love and support and is now at peace. Ruth, devoted wife of  53 years to George Higgins. Loving mother of Shelley (Mario Garcia) of Udora, Brian Higgins (Candice) of Aurora and Alan Higgins of Keswick. Cherished grandmother of Kevin (Sonia), Kris Garcia (Allyson), Alyssa (James Smith), Madison and Briare Higgins. She will be greatly missed by her great grandchildren Arianna Garcia and Jensen Smith. Friends will be received at the M.W. Becker Funeral Home Chapel, 490 The Queensway South, Keswick on Saturday August 24, 2019, from 11a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Ruth's Life at 12 noon.
