Joan Bentley

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 12th, 2019 while holding the hand of the love of her life and best friend Peter Bentley. Joan dedicated her life to teaching children. She obtained her teaching degrees in both England and Canada. She enjoyed singing, painting, knitting and was an artist in the garden. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten by her loving husband Peter, her daughter Melanie and son-in-law David. Grandson Brian Pilling and his partner Sophia, Grandson Scott Pyle and his partner Trish and her great grandchildren Elly and Gabby Pyle. Funeral Mass to be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 129 Metro Road North, Keswick, on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
