Wayne Harold O'Brien

Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at the age of 79 years. Dearly loved husband of Katherine O’Brien of Keswick. Loving father of Jennifer O’Brien Johnson (Chris Miller). Cherished Gaga of Lily and Jocelyn. Dear brother of Geraldine West (Bob Tetzlaff), Patricia (Ken Cassavoy), Glenda (Hollis Good), and predeceased by Dale O’Brien, Sharon McLean Good, Michael O’Brien (surviving wife Guistina), and Erin O’Brien Bastalak. Special thanks to Wayne’s good friends, Ray Ekstrom, Cathy Orocho, Marla Rosenfeld, Donna Crowder, Debbie Webb, Bev Xuereb, Nancy Young, Waris, Thomas, Erika, Beatrice, and to Dr, Lulja, Dr. Burns, Dr. Anglin, and Dr. Green. Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life gathering will be held at 214 Shorecrest Road, Keswick, on Saturday, October 26th starting at 1 p.m. with the sharing of memories beginning at 3 p.m. In memory of Wayne, donations made to Shades of Hope Wildlife Refuge or to the Georgina Feral Cat Committee would be appreciated.
