Sharon passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Hospital with her daughter by her side on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 in her 78th year.
Sharon had a great love of books and was an avid reader her entire life. She also loved doing crafts including sewing, needle point, folk art and much more. Her love of animals was also evident as there was always a cat or a dog or both in the house at any given time. She also loved horses and enjoyed horseback riding as a teenager. She enjoyed listening to pop and country music. She and her late husband Dave, would often head out on the motorcycle and go wherever the road took them.
Sharon is survived by her daughter Tammy (Gary); brother Kerry Fuller (Suzanne); sister Cheryl Munroe (Vaughn); her grandchildren Tyler and Megan Thomson and great grandson Thomas who she adored; her niece Andrea and nephews, Darcy, Kelsey and Graham.
Sharon will be missed by her extended family and friends.
A sincere thank you to Sharon Corners Retirement Residence for taking such good care of her. A special thank you to the nurses and physicians at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, who provided such great care and compassion to Sharon during her short stay in emergency and on the Cardiac Vascular (CVS) floor.
Thank you to all that have expressed your condolences for our loss. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Southlake Regional Health Centre or the Ontario SPCA.
A private family celebration of life will be held next year.
