Larry Davis

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald ‘Larry’ Davis. Survived by his wife and best friend of 54 years, Sandra Davis, his daughter Rachelle Davis (Frank Sluga), daughter Erin (Adam Perry) and his four grandchildren, Carley (William Watts), Austin Oosterhuis, Danielle Perry and Charlie Perry. Also survived by his brothers Don and Doug Davis. Predeceased by his father Clayton Davis and his mother Shirley Davis (nee Taun). He spent his life as a drywaller in the Carpenters Union Local 675 where he made many lifelong friends. When not at work he could be found puttering in his workshop. He was a jack of all trades, except in plumbing which he gladly let others help with. For many years Friday nights were spent at his house with his closest friends having a drink and enjoying the company. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Special thanks to Dr. Liauw and the palliative care nurses. In memory of Larry, donations made to the Georgina Food Pantry would be appreciated.
