Original and lifelong resident of Cabbagetown (Toronto). Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, Ontario on Friday December 25, 2020 at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband of Donna Marie Franklin (nee Gorrie) of Keswick, Ontario. Loving father of Laurel Franklin of Keswick, Karen Franklin of Toronto, Ted Franklin (Cathy) and Sandra Franklin (Dimitri Golematis) both of Keswick. Cherished “Papa” of Shannon of Keswick, Theo of Toronto, Kaitlyn, Michael both of Keswick, Courtney of Bobcageon and Alex of Keswick. Great-grandfather of Aubree, Lanaiyah, Levi, Blake and Avery. Dear brother of the late Ernest Ashford and Ronald Franklin. He will be greatly missed by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends especially from Cabbagetown (Toronto).
