John Durk Holtrop

Passed away peacefully at his home in Keswick on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at the age of 55 years. Beloved husband of Gwyneth Holtrop. Cherished father of John M. Holtrop (Ella), Emma Holtrop, and Peter Holtrop (Alicia), all of Keswick. Dear son of John R. and Annette Holtrop of Keswick. Loving brother of Tammy Holtrop of Aurora. Son-in-law of Terrence and Evelyn Davies, and brother-in-law of Heather Davies, all of Ottawa. John will be missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Visitation will be held at the MW Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway South, Keswick on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at the Holland Marsh Christian Reformed Church, 18935 Dufferin Street, Newmarket, on Friday, March 21 at 1:00 p.m. Private Family interment at Keswick Cemetery. In memory of John, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or World Vision would be appreciated.
