John Thomas Richards Gilbart

After a life so beautifully lived, it is with great sadness to announce John’s passing.  John passed away peacefully at his home in Keswick, ON, on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at the age of 83 years. Dearly loved husband of 58 years to Georgina Gilbart. Much loved father of Stephanie Gilbart (Josh Platt) of Keswick, ON and Ian Gilbart (Erin) of Orangeville, ON. Cherished grandfather of Alexa, Ethan, Emily and Benjamin. Dear brother of June Kutney, Christina King, Dorothy Knight, Linda Clark, Beth Gawley and Patricia Cummings.  He will be missed by his nieces, nephews, family and many friends. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at the MW Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway South, Keswick, ON, on Thursday, May 9, 2024 from 1-4 p.m., with words of expression starting at 3:30. If you would like to make a donation in John’s memory, donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Georgina Food Pantry would be welcomed.
