Joan Smith

Suddenly at her home on Saturday, September 17, 2011 in her 81st year. Dearly loved wife of George Beechener of RR#1 Sutton West. Loving mother of Heather (Ted Giesbrecht) of Belhaven, John (Jill) Hood of Sutton and Betty (Blair Buchanan) of Saskatchewan. Joan will be sadly missed by her 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Sister of Ida Taylor. Pre-deceased by one grandson Richard Young. Joan will be missed by her step-children, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Gathering will be held at the home of John and Jill Hood 28 Justin Court, Sutton on Friday, September 23, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. If desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
