Indra Aina Carveth

Passed away at home, surrounded by the love of her family, on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at the age of 69 years. Beloved wife of Stephen Carveth. Loving mother of Kristin (Mike Hutchinson) of Keswick and Michael Carveth (Keila) of Keswick. Cherished Ome of Lilly and Stephen Hutchinson, and Ivy Carveth. Dear sister of Ingrida (Wayne Roberts), and sister-in-law of Cathy (John D’Andrea) and Paul Carveth. She will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, family, friends and loved ones.

Indra had an unmistakable love for life’s simple pleasures. She found pure happiness in the things that brought her joy—whether it was dancing freely to the tunes of her favorite Burton Cummings songs or spending quiet moments on her porch swing with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine in hand. 

Indra's faith in God was her foundation. She looked to Him in all things, and her belief gave her the strength to endure life's challenges with grace and resilience. She cherished her family, pouring love and energy into her relationships, and was a pillar of support to anyone in need. Her compassion, her willingness to listen, and her unshakable optimism left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Indra is survived by her soulmate Steve and loving family, who will forever hold her in their hearts, and by all who were blessed to know her. We will miss her deeply, but we find comfort in knowing that her light continues to shine in all of us.

Visitation from the MW Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway South, Keswick on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. – 2 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. A Private Interment will take place at Keswick Cemetery. In memory of Indra, donations made to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
