KELMAN, Douglas Grant Royal Canadian Navy Veteran Past Master of King Hiram Lodge, Member of Ramses Shriners Longtime Employee of the North York School Board Past President CUPE 4400 and NYNTRA Peacefully went to be with his Lord, with his family by his side, on Tuesday, December 8, 2009, at Southlake Regional Health Centre in his 87th year. Beloved husband for 62 years of Doris Kelman of Newmarket. Loving father of Linda (Rev. Jim Johnson) of Durham and Donna (Bruce McAnsh) of Newmarket. Dear brother of Elva Barrowman of Willowdale and the late Nan Donn, Donald Kelman and Helen Patrick. Cherished Grandfather of Peter (Janice), Rebekah, Daniel, Sarah, David and Natalie, and proud Great-Grandfather of Laura. Doug will be deeply missed by his many family and friends. Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway S., Keswick, 905-476-7711, will be Saturday from 7- 9 pm and Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Masonic Service will be held on Sunday evening. Funeral Service from St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 484 Water ST. (at Main St), Newmarket at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 14, 2009. The family will receive friends from 10am until time of service.
