Peacefully at Riverglen Haven Nursing Home, Sutton on Sunday, March 2, 2014 in her 86th year. Predeceased by her husband James Doherty (2001). Loving mother to James (Jackie) Doherty of California, Janet Eastland of British Columbia, Anne Wilson of Keswick, David Doherty of Nipigon and Mother-in-law to Martha Doherty of Keswick. Doris will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, family, and friends. Predeceased by one son Peter Doherty, two son-in-laws Ed Eastland and Doug Wilson, and one grandson W.O. Robert Wilson. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. from M.W. Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway South, Keswick (1-888-884-4486). The family will take friends from 10:30 a.m. until time of service. Cremation. If desired, donations to The Salvation Army (Georgina Corp) would be appreciated by the family.
