Worked for the Bank of Nova Scotia in Richmond Hill for 38 years, then operated Island Grove Marina in Keswick, before retiring from Crates Marine. Peacefully at Cedarvale Lodge in Keswick on Friday December 22nd, 2017 at the age of 80 years. Rena, beloved wife of the late David Gillespie (1983). Loving mother of David Gillespie, Allan Gillespie (Elizabeth) of Keswick and Grant Gillespie of Newmarket. Catherine will be missed by relatives and friends in both Canada and Scotland, where many of her family still reside. A Private Family visitation took place at M.W. Becker Funeral Home 490 The Queensway South, Keswick, Ontario on Wednesday December 27th, 2017. A Graveside Service will take place at the Keswick Cemetery, 570 Varney Road, Keswick in the spring.
