Barbara Joan Selleck (née Williams)

Barbara passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 22, 2024, in her 91st year with her family by her side. She is predeceased by her husband of 56 years, John Stanley Selleck, her parents Robert and Gertrude (Gibbs) Williams, her sister Bernice Seeley and brother Brian. She was born and raised in Oshawa. Barb and John first settled in Scarborough and later retired in Cavan. She had many cherished friends wherever she called home. Dearly missed by sons Robert (Kathy), Doug (Kim), David and daughters Olwyn (Steve), Jane (John) and Joanne and their families including her seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. 

A Memorial Service is planned at St. John’s Anglican Church, Ida, Ontario on Monday, October 28, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment. Special thanks to Sharon Corners Retirement Living Staff, Dr. Danyel Saeed, Elizabeth Dilworth, and to the staff of Margaret Bahen Hospice, Newmarket for their amazing care. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Margaret Bahen Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
