Eileen bravely fought 3 rounds of oral cancer over a long 7 years. Our heartfelt thanks to the medical team at Sunnybrook who cared for her in a way she deeply appreciated.
Eileen displayed a quiet strength and optimism that was a testament to her faith and her love of her family. In the end, God called her home suddenly in an unexpected health turn that leaves a gap we can never fill. We were so grateful to be by her side to say goodbye. Our thanks to the ICU staff at Southlake Hospital. Survived by her adoring husband of 45 years Paul, children Elizabeth (Grant) and William (Christina). Sister to Maureen (Phil). Her grandchildren & greatest joys will miss their Grandma - Charlotte, Benjamin, Nathaniel, Luke and Ella. Loving Aunt to Amanda, Jeffery and Bradley. Eileen was a proud 34-year Provincial Service employee. Celebration of life will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Newmarket on Friday October 27th at 11am. Our family would like to thank St Andrew's for the support through life's highs and lows. Donations to St Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Newmarket or the Odette Cancer Center at Sunnybrook Hospital, would be greatly appreciated.
