Ed Baiden

1944 — September 29, 2009

Baiden, Ed (December 8, 1944 – September 29, 2009) Ed Baiden, 64, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at Southlake Regional Heath Centre following a heart attack. His family surrounded him. Fast Eddie was a well-known Keswick businessman, beloved husband, father and grandfather. Although he had been an established Chrysler Dodge Jeep Dealer Principal of S& B Keswick Motors Ltd for over 37 years, he could often be found operating his prized skid steer or digging in the back lot. He was always happy to share his life lessons with those around him. His favourite pastimes were work, long drives, watching the cars go by on the Queensway, eating cookies and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 41 years, Beth, and their 4 children and spouses, Jim and Cathy Baiden, Ann Baiden and Mike Peel, Billy and Natalie Baiden, Neal and Corrine Baiden and his 8 grandchildren, Stephanie and Ben Baiden, Tyler and Shay-Leigh Peel, Amber and Zach Baiden, and Riley and Julia Baiden. Brother of Bev Dicks and Paul Baiden. Fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Bernice Davidson. His spirit will live on in all of those that loved him. His wish would have been that everyone “Keep Smiling.” Visitation from M.W. Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway South, Keswick 905-476-7711, Friday 7 - 9 p.m. and Saturday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service from the Chapel on Sunday October 4th, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Queensville Cemetery. For those who wish, donations may be made to the CCU and Cardiology Unit at Southlake Regional Health Centre.
