JONES-SHAPIRO – Dorothy May (Born April 26, 1936) Passed away suddenly on November 9, 2010. Daughter of the late Fredrik and late Pearl Graham. Widow of the late David John Jones (1962). Beloved mother of terry David Jones. Devoted partner and much loved companion of Harvey Shapiro for 35 years. Adopted sister of Donald Laurence and the late Jack Laurence. Grandmother of 7 and great-grandmother of two. Dorothy will be greatly missed and mourned by all. Visitation will be held at M.W. Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway S., Keswick 905-476-7711 on Thursday, November 11th from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, November 12th from 11am-1 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 12th at 1 p.m. Interment at Pine Hill Cemetery, Scarborough on Monday, November 15th at 11:30 am. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Kidney Foundation, the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Diabetes Association or charity of your choice.
