Peacefully at her home, as was her wish, on Friday, January 20, 2012 in her 97th year. Loving mother of Sylvia. Cherished Gran of Christine, Jennifer and James and great-gran of Cameron, Ella, Matthew and Julia. God-mother of Keith. Predeceased by her loving husband James (1988), daughter Susan (2008) and brothers Alfred (1945) and Joseph (1972). Funeral Service from M.W. Becker Funeral Home, Keswick 905-476-7711 on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until time of service. A private family internment to follow. The family would like to give a special thanks to the We Care staff who provided such tender care in her final week.
