Died peacefully, surround by lots of love from his family on Saturday, October 21st, 2017, at Southlake R.H.C. Newmarket, at the age of 73 years. John, beloved son of Jessie Smith and of the late Gordon Marles. Loving father of Phyllis Marles (Kevin Andrews), Gordie, Patty (Steven Andrews), Derek (Jen) all of Toronto, William John Jr. 'Will' of Barrie, and Holly (Jeff Hawkins) of Ottawa. Cherished 'Grandad' of Kerry, Ryan, Adam, Haley, Dakota, Alex, Talon, Henry, Hannah, and great 'Grandad' of Serena, Clara, Payton, Ryan, Elijah, Christian, Ashton, and Jude. Dear brother of Clifford (Marlene) of Holland Landing, Paul (Joan) of Barrie and Linda (Randy Morrison) of Keswick. He will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be recieved at the M.W.
